What if my PDF is plain text with no tables?
It still converts. When no table is found anywhere, each page becomes one row instead — the page number in the first column and that page’s full text in the second — so nothing is squeezed into columns it was never meant to have.
Will the numbers still work as numbers in Excel?
Yes. Plain numeric cells, including ones with thousands separators, are written as real numbers so you can sum and sort them. Values like order numbers with leading zeros are kept as text so nothing is altered.
Does it convert every page, or only the first one?
Every page. A table split across many pages is stitched back into one continuous sheet, and a header row that repeats on each page is kept only once.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
No — a scanned PDF is just an image of a page with no text layer to read. Text-based PDFs work best. For a scan or photo, use our Image to Text (OCR) tool instead.
